Smart Giving
for a Lasting Legacy of Love in the Brotherhood.
The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the
world and those who dwell therein.
Psalm 24:1 ESV
Stewardship of God’s Gifts
One of the basic principles the Bible teaches is that our lives, our world, and everything in them belongs to God.He is the creator and owner of all that we have and all that there is.
Understanding this fundamental truth can dramatically affect our view of what to do with our material wealth. It belongs to God, so it is reasonable for us to do with it that which pleases Him.

A good man leaves an inheritance
to his children’s children.
Proverbs 13:22 ESV

God’s Call to Provide for Our Families
It pleases God when we care for our children and our grandchildren.
It is important that we make plans to provide for their welfare when we are gone. As a matter of fact, God is actually displeased with us if we don’t provide for our family.
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and
especially for members of his household, he has denied the
faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
1st Timothy 5:8 ESV
The Household of Faith
It is also important to remember the household of faith.
Your extended family of brothers and sisters around the world can benefit from your planning and generosity.

Honor the LORD with your wealth and with
the firstfruits of all your produce.
Proverbs 3:9 ESV
And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
Mark 12:42-44 ESV
